Follow the path

All games

Start at the yellow dot and follow the path with your finger to the orange dot.

For parents

Following a path with a finger or a stylus builds the foundations of handwriting: precise, smooth movements and hand-eye coordination. The shapes range from a simple line to letters, and the line changes colour as soon as it strays from the path, so children can see straight away where to adjust.

Tips

  • Start on the easy level, where the path is wide, even with an older child.
  • A tablet stylus makes the movement closer to holding a pencil.
  • A few minutes is enough: several short sessions work better than one long one.

These games are a playful extra: they don't replace an occupational therapy assessment or therapy sessions. If you have questions about your child's handwriting, attention or motor skills, talk to a professional.
