Listening to and watching a short tune, then playing it back in the same order, trains attention and working memory: the ability to keep information in mind long enough to use it. The tune gets one note longer after each success. Every button has its own colour, shape and sound, so children can rely on whichever cue suits them best.

Tips

  • Play somewhere quiet, with the sound on.
  • Encourage your child to name the colours or sing the notes to remember them.
  • After a mistake, the tune is played again: let your child try again without stepping in.
